SUMMARY:Drawing Wax Resist and Sculpture: Spider Sensations – 23 April 2024
DESCRIPTION:Louise Bourgeois was a French American artist who in her long life worked across drawing\, painting\, printmaking and sculpture. One of her most famous works is a 9 m high sculpture of a spider. In this workshop\, using charcoal we will draw a spider before composing a wax resist using crayons and watercolours. After morning tea children will plan their spider sculptures made from wire and found objects.  \nAll art materials included. \nPlaces are limited and bookings are essential.
