SUMMARY:Sculpture Lifeclass Fridays - Term 4 2022
DESCRIPTION:Exploring the human form is a constant source of wonder and no two poses are ever the same\, such is the never ending dynamic of the body! \nIn this course you will learn to see by observing form\, proportional values\, depth\, rhythm and structure. We begin with armature building which is the structure that lies beneath the form and from there we will develop our sculptures through modelling using clay\, plasticine and wax. You will learn about waste moulding and repeat moulding systems. \nNOTE: When enrolling for a course or workshop please make sure you put the appropriate number of students enrolling in the enrolment box.

DESCRIPTION:Starting with images of arid Australian landscapes children will discuss various plant shapes and learn about the wonderful artist Jean Arp.  They will explore how Arp used cardboard cut outs of organic shapes to create dynamic artworks. This workshop investigates spatial relationships\, abstraction and colour. \nAll art materials included. \nPlaces are limited and bookings are essential. \nFull Day of Fun\nGive your child a full day of creative fun by booking them into both workshops on this day. Includes free supervision over lunch.
