Preschoolers Parents and Carers Mixed Media Mornings

The 1 hour session would involve the children and parents. We would begin with a story to set the scene. Use of materials/respect for the environment would be talked about before beginning work.

Each child/parent will create their own work and comparing the product isn’t supported: these sessions are all about focusing on bonding and sharing. At the end of each session it may be possible to share everyone’s work and experience.

We will play with simple collage, painting with watercolours, use of crayons and modelling in plasticine. Depending on the group we may from time to time focus on other artist’s practices, setting an inspirational platform for the children and parents to create art work along those lines using similar colours as we explore different mediums.
