Cade Turner

Cade Turner (b. Sydney, Australia, 1977) received a Bachelor of Media (Visual Production) from Macquarie University in 2001. Turner has exhibited locally and internationally and his work is held in private collections across Australia, Singapore, Japan, Italy, France and the USA.

Turner’s approach to photography is unique. He is intuitively guided by light, colour and his emotional response to them and his surroundings. He completes most of his work in-camera (no Photoshop), using a variety of self-developed, unconventional techniques that have been mastered with great patience over the past fifteen years to create impactful effects. This unique approach enables him to capture previously unseen impressions of the very essence of light, its movement, explosive sensitivity and meaning that everyday eyes often miss.
