I have always been drawn to creativity and my life has constantly been surrounded by art. When I was 15 I made the decision that I wanted to teach art, and I have never considered anything else. Three years into my university degree of Art Education I am still loving it. There’s no greater joy than teaching something you love to students, and watching their own art making grow.
I have always been a painter, because for me personally, that’s how I can be the most expressive. I am attracted to all things colourful, and this is evident through my paintings. Drawing is also a constant in my life, and I have studied printmaking, sculpture and ceramics. I focus mainly on portraiture as a process of representation.
Travelling is another area of interest for me, and every new culture I witness inspires me with my own art making.
