Leila el Rayes

Leila El Rayes is an emerging artist working across painting, video, ceramics and installation. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UNSW Art & Design, majoring in Painting and Drawing; and is currently undertaking her Honours in the same genre. She has worked in various galleries, Artist Run Initiatives as well as art events.

Leila has a keen interest in the contemporary and exploring new relationships between the modern world and art. She is passionate about sharing art as an experience with others. Leila believes there is no right or wrong when creating an artwork, yet it is important to develop your skills base, and she encourages others to explore, experiment and enjoy the creative process.
