Rachael Helmore

Rachael is a multidisciplinary artist, currently living and working in Sydney. She completed her undergraduate degree in Fine Arts at the University of New South Wales, majoring in Printmaking and Anthropology. Her art making practice reflects her many influences – in particular, her interests in mark making and the intricacies of social and cultural life. Whether working with linoleum, paint, digital media or traditional drawing materials, Rachael’s approach to art making is playful and organic.

As well as sharing her love of art through teaching, Rachael works in visitor engagement at two of Sydney’s major galleries. She has exhibited in group and solo shows in Germany and Australia and her works are held in private collections nationally and internationally.
