Program Term 4 2023

This term we will mix it up! We will delve into some experimental and extended definitions of ‘drawing’, as well as venturing outside for the ‘en plein air’ experience.

WEEK 1

Lino Print 1

Using a ‘cut’ or engraved line to draw with, we will make a lino print. This week we will design and cut the lino tile.

WEEK 2

Lino Print 2

Using a ‘cut’ or engraved line to draw with, we will make a lino print. This week we will make the prints.

WEEK 3

‘En plein air’ at Winnererremy Bay 1

Drawing in the open air is a different experience to being in the studio. Over 2 weeks will draw the landscape at Winnererremy Bay as well as making bark rubbings, and collecting leaves and other  objects to take back to the studio.

WEEK 4

WEEK 5

An ‘Artist Book’ 1

Based on our ‘en plein air’ explorations we will create a mixed media ‘artist book’. We will draw objects collected, and combining with bark rubbings and selected lino prints made earlier in the term we will compile an ‘artist book’.
