At Sydney Art Space the health and well being of our students and staff is a priority, and now sadly with this new government directive regarding the COVID-19 virus and the shut down of non-essential services within the next 48 hours we will have to postpone the last sessions of Term 1 and regroup hopefully in Term 2.
You will be able to enrol online for Term 2. As we may have to limit our class sizes for Term 2 to 6 participants per course, if you wish to secure your place please get in early to avoid disappointment.
For those with credits owing from Term 1 this will be deducted from your Term 2 balance. If we are unable to recommence in Term 2 due to government restrictions you will receive a full refund for your Term 2 booking by May 5th.
This is a very difficult time for everyone and we ask for your patience as we navigate these unchartered waters together whilst trying to remain calm and safe.
Please be assured we have no intention of closing Sydney Art Space as we have built up such a wonderful community over the past 5 years and we intend to be back up and running as soon as is possible.
Sydney Art Space
Sydney Art Space – an art school on the Northern Beaches of Sydney offers art classes for adults, teens and children and is the inspiration of multi-form artist and educator Christine Simpson. The vision of creating an arts education environment has now come to fruition and the art school provides quality art courses, quality art tutors and diverse and interesting art events and creative workshops.
Being principal educator at The Shed Sculpture Studio for the past 12 years, with a Diploma in Education, and the completion of a Master of Fine Art and Master of Studio Art at Sydney University’s Sydney College of the Arts, Christine Simpson’s acquired arts practice-education knowledge has led to the reality of opening and delivering this quality arts teaching facility.
Sydney Art Space is easily accessible with an off street drop-off zone directly out the front and free 3 hour undercover parking directly opposite in Pittwater Place. It is also conveniently positioned 2 minutes walk from public transport and Mona Vale Village and less than 10 minutes walk from local schools.
Sydney Art Space gives people of all ages and stages the ability to develop and enhance their creativity and confidence by learning real skills to begin and/or grow their arts practice in a fun, safe, nurturing and non-competitive learning environment. Small art class sizes enable individual attention and the opportunity to belong to a caring creative community. Whether it be sculpture, drawing, painting, weaving, printmaking, carving, creative writing, children’s art and our School Holiday Art Programs there is something for everyone to get inspired and be creative.
A wonderful gift for the someone in your life who has everything!
